Mock Meet Information
Barracudas! We are excited to host our mock meet. Below are all the details.
Arrival: Please plan for arrival beginning at 5:00pm. Feel free to set up around the pool. Please do not sit behind the starting blocks as it will be used for clerk of course, coaches, and volunteers.
Team Picture: We will begin to line up for our 2026 team picture at 5:15pm. Please bring your new green shirt. If you have not picked up your shirts or caps, they will be available at the pool entrance.
Warm-ups: Warm-ups will begin at 5:30pm.
Meet Start: The mock meet will begin at 6:00pm. We will hold all individual events for each age group, as well as freestyle relays for our 7/8’s and above at the end.
Seating: There will be limited deck seating available, please bring your own chairs.
Slide and Splash Pad: Our neighborhood water slide and splash pad will be closed for the meet. Please do not set up chairs in the splash pad area, it will be marked with caution tape.
Concessions: We will be running a full concession stand for the mock meet! Additionally, if you have concession stand donations feel free to drop them off before the meet. The sign-up link for concession donations is here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30E044AAFAC2AAAFC1-64153864-2026
- Barracuda Concessions will be selling Pulled Pork sandwiches, pizza, hot dogs, snacks, drinks, and more!
Diving: Swimmers are welcome to utilize the diving blocks, dive off the side, or do in-water starts depending on their comfort. Only in-water starts will be allowed at the far end of the pool for relays.
Clerk of Course: Clerking of swimmers will be located at the starting end of the pool behind the blocks. Benches will be set up under the large blue umbrella.
Timers/Judges: There will be a timer’s meeting inside the clubhouse at 5:45pm, 15 minutes prior to the meet start. We ask all timers and judges attend the meeting.
Computers/Ribbons: The computer is located inside the clubhouse. If you are volunteering for these positions, please report there before the start of the meet.
Hospitality: All volunteers are welcome to complimentary water. A hospitality runner will be walking the deck periodically to deliver to timers, judges, and clerk of course
Heat Sheets: Electronic copies will be sent tomorrow afternoon, prior to the meet.
Inclement Weather: In the event of lightning our lifeguards will clear the pool deck. We ask all to head to their cars to wait for the all-clear. Only coaches and team representatives will be allowed to gather in the clubhouse.
