What do I NEED for practice?
EQUIPMENT:
Please make sure that swimmers at least have a good set of goggles (Speedo and TYR are good brands). Face masks are not conducive to swimming for sport. In addition, a cap is also a good suggestion, especially for girls with longer hair. Each swimmer will receive a cap with registration.
ATTIRE:
A practice suit is recommended so that swimmers can move easily through the water. 2 piece suits for girls are not typically good for swimming on a team. A one-piece tank suit for girls and a jammer or brief for boys is the suggested attire. NOTE: suits for a meet should fit snuggly to avoid drag in the water.
